Area Attractions

The Inn at Indian Creek lies twelve short miles from Round Top, Texas and its many attractions; fifteen miles to the east lies Brenham, the county seat. The Antique Rose Emporium lies just north of Brenham, in Independence. Guests can soak up the history and traditions of Washington County and visit structures and sites where Texas was Born. Day trips offer countless adventures.

Outstanding dining, shopping and entertainment are in nearby Burton, Carmine, Round Top and Brenham. Festivals, antique shows, Shakespearean plays, concerts and theater abound in the area. Burton is noted for its Cotton Gin Festival in April and its Cotton Gin Museum.

Guests may also follow the Historic Texas Independence Trail and the Bluebonnet Trail, both of which pass through Burton. Some of the most scenic farm-to-market roads (FM Roads) in Texas are an easy drive from the Inn.

Back at the Inn await tranquility....and privacy. Your comfort and pleasure are paramount. There is nothing "rustic" about the accommodations here. In the mornings and evenings the front porches of the cottages are ideal spots from which to observe the antics of ever-present wrens, cardinals, herons, ducks squirrels, and noisy woodpeckers. Cattle in the neighboring pasture round out the bucolic scene. You have found a slice of heaven...on earth

A treat awaits you at The Inn at Indian Creek.
